This is why I love summer, and why I love living near Chicago. The girls and I made a day of going to Ravinia a couple weekends ago, and it was heavenly. We relaxed on our blanket, ate lots of food, did plenty of people watching, and listened to the smokey voice of Madeleine Peyroux.
Though we did get a few drops of rain at the end, it was so warm out that we didn't mind a bit.

you look so beautiful in this picture!! I'm glad you all had a great time. It's fun to hang out with the girls. I enjoy every moment I can get alone with any of my good friends!

Thanks everyone! I feel so loved (and flattered)! However, you should know that before this picture, there were about 4 others that were slightly less glamorous and significantly more hilarious. We couldn't believe one of them actually turned out! : )
